Happyshroom, also known as Monstershroom, is one of the antagonists in Tyke and Son’s Lumber Co. He is a severely damaged animatronic-humanoid with a mushroom-like appearance and small mushroom associates, who appears on Night 5 of the game.
Physical appearance[]
Happyshroom seems to take the appearance of a mushroom, similar to Fun Fungal. Happyshroom's cap is dirty red with dirty white edges and spots on it, as well some holes. The suit head is worn down by the weather and the environment of the forest, turning the head almost black. The suit head is damaged, exposing it's small eyes with rose pupils and also what appears to be a skull inside. His mouth sports with a big dirty red lips and cheek spots on the two side's of his face. His teeth are small, and pointed which lines the mouth, giving him a creepy smile. The skull's bottom lip and chin can also be seen at certain angles and close-ups.
Happyshroom's chest piece is a dirty green with missing panels on the sides of their chest, exposing the exoskeleton wiring and parts. Their mid-section is beige in color with four segments of decreasing size and a button on the middle of the segments. His pelvis is missing the suit part for it, exposing a skeletal pelvis covered in the wire where the joints are clearly seen. The arms are completely missing their suit parts, exposing the exoskeleton joints and wiring.
Also, there are only three fingers and a one thumb on each hand, all have sharp ends. His legs appear to be relatively undamaged as they still retain the green segmented frames where the suit parts used to be. Animatronic's femur appear to be thicker than the lower part of his legs due to the size of the green segment frames.
The lower legs have smaller segmented frames that are closer to the exoskeleton, with a single piece of wire coiling around loosely on each leg. He sports three toes on each foot which are also missing their respective suit parts. Alongside all this information, Happyshroom carries three mushrooms each colored Red, Blue, and Orange. They have smooth caps, but end with a curved point. Their mouth is smaller, more cubical-shaped with sharp teeth inside. Their eyes all glow a black color, and they roam alongside Happyshroom day and night.
Gameplay[]
Happyshroom appears on Night 5, appearing in the windows or the door. He will show up after a short jumpscare, marking his location on the mini-map. When you fill the Sleep Assurance Bar and run back to Mike's room, Happyshroom will appear on the bed and some seconds later a boss battle begins. In the boss battle the player has a task to stop the Shroomions from coming together while attacking Happyshroom. If the player fails, they will lose a heart. The night will restart if the player loses every heart. When it happens a special Game Over screen will appear, where Mike is seen brutally murdered and impaled with a wooden log. If the player defeats Happyshroom the night ends.
Happyshroom's monologue during secret ending[]
"What fools they were. It always amuses me to see such naive characters get whiped out by none other than fate itself. What happened to Killtimber and his love interest? They found each other, but in a state they weren't used to seeing their partners in. Withering all over their costumes. They didn't recognize each other. We were all trapped in this forest, broken down, malfunctioning yet striving to live. But robots like us don't stand a chance. It was never fair. But, that is something that isn't important to me. I'm far better than those lovebirds, but they learned their lesson now. "I'm Killtimber, look at my fat ugly snout. I'm idiotic to the point of no return"."I'm Summercrab, the most stupidest looking... robo girl... crab... uh... hybrid to ever exist. My head is really large and I'm naïve enough to fall for that handsome beaver boy". As you can see, I'm far more interested in doing my own thing. Changing the topic, I hadn't tasted flesh in years now... ...and I'm still very mad at how badly you treated me when I paid you a visit a few nights ago. What happened to hospitality, Mike? It seems that, well, I can't show you any either. It seems like these... ...are your last seconds alive!"
